All four libraries offer support for disabled students with a range of assistive technologies & equipment available to use.
We are always willing to provide support and advice should you have an additional support need.

Allan Glen’s Library

The BuildingAllan Glen's Library is fully accessible to all users. An open lift gives access to the library from the ground floor and ramps are available within the library. Toilets equipped for disabled access are available on the ground and top tier of the library. Study areasStudy areas are fully accessible for users with mobility impairments, with adjustable tables, where required.

Cathedral Street Library

The BuildingLift access to the Cathedral Street Library is available to the 2nd floor where the library is situated.
Study areasStudy areas are fully accessible for people with mobility impairments. The ICT Suite also has magnetised doors for easy access in and out of the room.
Assistive SoftwareWe have the following software available in the library: TextHelp Wordsmith, Texthelp Read & Write Gold, ZoomText Xtra & Kurzweil 3000

North Hanover Library

The BuildingThe North Hanover Street Library is fully accessible to disabled users. Lift access is available to the 1st floor of the Millennium Building where the library is situated. To access this lift, please go to the Finance Department, situated on the first floor of the main building and ask for the disabled access lift key. Study areasStudy areas are fully DDA compliant and therefore accessible for people with mobility impairments.
