Seasonal Message from Glasgow Colleges' Regional Board

23 December 2019

As the festive season is now upon us, we are reflecting on what a busy, eventful and productive year it has been for the Glasgow college region.

We would like to take the opportunity to congratulate each of the colleges, Glasgow Kelvin, Glasgow Clyde and City of Glasgow, staff and and our learners across the region on their successes in 2019.

GCRB hosted several regional events across the colleges this year, including our Regional Conversation on Mental Health, Foundation Apprenticeships celebration event and Equality and Diversity competition. We also launched our Programme of Action, looked to the future with our Strategic Board Development Day and welcomed Minister for Childcare and Early Years Maree Todd to the region just last week.

This success has been possible because of the continued commitment and collaboration across the region, which has allowed us to progress our ambitious plans to be Scotland's most inclusive, responsive and effective regional college system.

We have many exciting initiatives ahead in 2020 and as this year comes to a close, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and partnership. We wish you all the best for the holiday season and look forward to working with you all again next year.
