Sakshi Sircar

Sakshi is a Project Engineer and Co-Lead for Sustainability at Net Zero Technology Centre. Sakshi manages a portfolio of Robotics and Autonomous System technology development projects to accelerate the use of technology for the energy transition. Working with start-ups, small to medium size enterprises, she provides guidance and governance to developers always with a focus on sustainability, diversity, and inclusion. Sakshi has worked on delivering technology roadmaps to 2030, with an outlook to 2050, aligning with the Governmental Net Zero Targets for the UK. 

 

Sakshi’s career has been focused on the use and application of engineering and technology in the energy sector with a mindset for continuous improvement. She is a people person with over a decade of experience in the private, public and non-governmental sector leading and delivering collaborative projects. Alongside leveraging the use of technology to support the energy transition, Sakshi has a keen interest in sustainable development and the Just Transition. Sakshi has previously presented at Scotsman on Green Skills event and participated on the panel focussed on digitalisation, discussing how the Industrial Revolution 4.0 can contribute to a greener economy. 

 

As a Chartered Engineer, Sakshi is a strong and active STEM Ambassador and a champion for gender diversity in STEM subjects. In her spare time, Sakshi loves to volunteer at various initiatives, to train in Aerial Silks and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and obsess over gardening and travel.
