Verity Watson

Verity is the Assistant Director of Employee Experience at the University of Strathclyde.  She has a particular interest in equality, diversity and inclusion, and has been involved in the implementation of a number of socially progressive policies and initiatives at Strathclyde.  Her remit covers employee relations, employment law, policy, contracts, strategic projects and training delivery.  She is a member of a number of committees at the University, including Equally Safe and Safe 360, which focus on culture and behaviours of staff and students. 

Verity also tutors in Employment Tribunal Practice and Procedure at the University.  She has previous experience working in both the financial and legal sectors.

Verity is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh, a member of the Law Society of Scotland, and volunteers with Positive Action in Housing.
